There has been a huge response to a call for submissions for the seventh Regional Arts Australia national conference: Junction 2010 ‐ connecting the future.
Conference coordinator Angela Driver is delighted to have received more than 150 submissions from across Australia, thanking everybody for their enthusiasm and support.

“We have received some very interesting proposals from places like Dubbo, Cocos Island, Bruny Island and many more beautiful locations across Australia.”

The final decision regarding the submissions will be communicated directly to everybody who sent in a proposal by the end of January.
Junction 2010 will be held in Launceston from 26 August to 29 August 2010 and is presented in partnership with Tasmanian Regional Arts and the host community of Launceston.

With over 1000 delegates participating in the conference, Junction 2010 will bring together people from across Australia and international borders.
