With Papageno at his side to overcome the dark powers of the Queen of Night, Tamino's quest of truth, beauty and the girl of his dreams unfolds to the magic of Mozart's score. This new production by Opera Queensland floats in time and speaks of make-believe and lives lived outside the ordinary. Scheming divas, an innocent clown, a ringmaster and a strongman come together to tell this tale of the supernatural, all under a 1930s big top.
